THE ALBUMStandard

BLACKPINK – THE ALBUM (Standard) is one physical edition of the 1st full album by BLACKPINK, released on October 16, 2023. This is a physical CD: disc, photobook and cards in one box.

The box declared by the distributor holds one photobook, 3 postcards, 2 lyric booklets, and one box. The photobook runs to 96 pages. 2 photocards are drawn at random out of 20 designs: two copies do not give the same cards. It also holds ARTIST, TITLE, and LABEL, as declared by the distributor.

No POB is listed for this version in pocabase. A POB (preorder benefit) is a bonus from the retailer, never from the label: it changes from one shop to the next and is gone once the preorder window closes.

THE ALBUM comes in 14 versions, among them Standard, Version 1, Version 2, and Version 3. The tracklist does not change from one version to the next: only the box, the photocards and the artwork do. Standard declares more items on these points: one photobook, 3 postcards, and 2 lyric booklets.

This is an official edition: bought from an authorised retailer, it counts towards the Hanteo and Circle charts, which measure physical sales in South Korea. No EAN is recorded here. The EAN is the 13-digit barcode that names one precise version: it is the safest check before buying.
