About this version
BTS – BE (ESSENTIAL) is one physical edition of BE, a full album by BTS released on February 19, 2021. This is a physical CD: disc, photobook and cards in one box. The album is released by BigHit Entertainment.
The box declared by the distributor holds one photobook, 2 photocards, and one box. 141 photocards are announced. One photocard is drawn at random out of 8 designs: two copies do not give the same cards. It also holds ARTIST, TITLE, and LABEL, as declared by the distributor.
No POB is listed for this version in pocabase. A POB (preorder benefit) is a bonus from the retailer, never from the label: it changes from one shop to the next and is gone once the preorder window closes.
BE comes in 4 versions: ESSENTIAL, DELUXE, Cartes bonus, and Autres cartes. The tracklist does not change from one version to the next: only the box, the photocards and the artwork do. ESSENTIAL declares more items on these points: one box and 141 photocards.
This is an official edition: bought from an authorised retailer, it counts towards the Hanteo and Circle charts, which measure physical sales in South Korea. EAN 8809633189531 points to this exact edition: it is the code to check before buying, because every version carries its own.
