About this version
BTS – SPECIAL ALBUM (Standard) is one physical edition of SPECIAL ALBUM, a special album by BTS released on May 2, 2016. This is a physical CD: disc, photobook and cards in one box. The album is released by BigHit Entertainment.
The box declared by the distributor holds one photobook and one photocard. The photobook runs to 112 pages. One photocard is announced. One photocard is drawn at random out of 8 designs: two copies do not give the same cards. It also holds ARTIST, TITLE, and LABEL, as declared by the distributor.
One POB is listed for this version: KPOPHERO Wholesale gives Mini Photocard : First press only - Folded Poster :1ea. A POB (preorder benefit) is a bonus from the retailer, never from the label: it changes from one shop to the next and is gone once the preorder window closes.
SPECIAL ALBUM has a single physical edition in pocabase: Standard. The tracklist does not change from one version to the next: only the box, the photocards and the artwork do.
This is an official edition: bought from an authorised retailer, it counts towards the Hanteo and Circle charts, which measure physical sales in South Korea. EAN 8804775070341 points to this exact edition: it is the code to check before buying, because every version carries its own.
