About this version
EXO – SPECIAL ALBUM (JEWEL CASE) is one physical edition of SPECIAL ALBUM, a album by EXO. This is a physical CD: disc, photobook and cards in one box.
The box declared by the distributor holds one poster, 16 lyric booklets, and one disc. One photocard is drawn at random out of 6 designs: two copies do not give the same cards. It also holds ARTIST, TITLE, and LABEL, as declared by the distributor.
No POB is listed for this version in pocabase. A POB (preorder benefit) is a bonus from the retailer, never from the label: it changes from one shop to the next and is gone once the preorder window closes.
SPECIAL ALBUM comes in 4 versions: JEWEL CASE, EXPANSION, PHOTO BOOK 1, and PHOTO BOOK 2. The tracklist does not change from one version to the next: only the box, the photocards and the artwork do. JEWEL CASE declares more items on these points: one poster, 16 lyric booklets, and one disc.
This is an official edition: bought from an authorised retailer, it counts towards the Hanteo and Circle charts, which measure physical sales in South Korea. EAN 8809633189968 points to this exact edition: it is the code to check before buying, because every version carries its own.
