THE STORYStandard

Kang Daniel – THE STORY (Standard) is one physical edition of the 1st full album by Kang Daniel, released on May 24, 2022. This is a physical CD: disc, photobook and cards in one box.

The box declared by the distributor holds one photobook, 5 photocards, one poster, 3 postcards, and one sticker sheet. The photobook runs to 60 pages. 5 photocards are announced. One photocard is drawn at random out of 10 designs: two copies do not give the same cards. It also holds ARTIST, TITLE, and ARCH-PLOT Ver., as declared by the distributor.

One POB is listed for this version: KPOPHERO Wholesale gives Limited Photocard (First Press Only). A POB (preorder benefit) is a bonus from the retailer, never from the label: it changes from one shop to the next and is gone once the preorder window closes.

THE STORY comes in 2 versions: Standard and PLATFORM. The tracklist does not change from one version to the next: only the box, the photocards and the artwork do. Standard is the only one in CD format. Standard declares more items on these points: one photobook, 5 photocards, and one poster.

This is an official edition: bought from an authorised retailer, it counts towards the Hanteo and Circle charts, which measure physical sales in South Korea. No EAN is recorded here. The EAN is the 13-digit barcode that names one precise version: it is the safest check before buying.
