About this version
SHINee – CIRCLE (QR SMART ALBUM) is one physical edition of the 1st full album by SHINee, released on March 6, 2023. A platform album holds no disc: the music plays through a QR card or an NFC chip, in the distributor app. The album is released by SM Entertainment.
The box declared by the distributor holds 11 photocards and one sticker sheet. One photocard is announced. One photocard is drawn at random out of 2 designs: two copies do not give the same cards. It also holds ARTIST, TITLE, and LABEL, as declared by the distributor.
No POB is listed for this version in pocabase. A POB (preorder benefit) is a bonus from the retailer, never from the label: it changes from one shop to the next and is gone once the preorder window closes.
CIRCLE comes in 4 versions: QR SMART ALBUM, SMini SMART ALBUM, PHOTOBOOK, and DIGIPACK. The tracklist does not change from one version to the next: only the box, the photocards and the artwork do. QR SMART ALBUM declares more items on these points: 11 photocards and one sticker sheet.
This is an official edition: bought from an authorised retailer, it counts towards the Hanteo and Circle charts, which measure physical sales in South Korea. EAN 8809755505059 points to this exact edition: it is the code to check before buying, because every version carries its own.
