About this version
EXO – Essence of Reverie (kiwee Platform Album) is one physical edition of the 5th mini album by EXO, released on May 19, 2025. A platform album holds no disc: the music plays through a QR card or an NFC chip, in the distributor app.
The box declared by the distributor holds 9 photocards, one lyric booklet, and one box. 9 photocards are announced. One photocard is drawn at random out of 10 designs: two copies do not give the same cards. It also holds QR Ticket and Album Credit, as declared by the distributor.
No POB is listed for this version in pocabase. A POB (preorder benefit) is a bonus from the retailer, never from the label: it changes from one shop to the next and is gone once the preorder window closes.
Essence of Reverie comes in 4 versions: kiwee Platform Album, Special Kkuru Jam, Photobook, and Cartes bonus. The tracklist does not change from one version to the next: only the box, the photocards and the artwork do. kiwee Platform Album is the only one in platform album format. kiwee Platform Album declares more items on these points: 9 photocards.
This is an official edition: bought from an authorised retailer, it counts towards the Hanteo and Circle charts, which measure physical sales in South Korea. EAN 8809957311540 points to this exact edition: it is the code to check before buying, because every version carries its own.
