About this version
EXO – Essence of Reverie (Photobook) is one physical edition of the 5th mini album by EXO, released on May 19, 2025. This is a physical CD: disc, photobook and cards in one box.
The box declared by the distributor holds one photobook, 2 photocards, one sticker sheet, 16 lyric booklets, and one disc. The photobook runs to 72 pages. 2 photocards are announced. One photocard is drawn at random out of 4 designs: two copies do not give the same cards. It also holds Mood Meter, as declared by the distributor.
No POB is listed for this version in pocabase. A POB (preorder benefit) is a bonus from the retailer, never from the label: it changes from one shop to the next and is gone once the preorder window closes.
Essence of Reverie comes in 4 versions: Photobook, kiwee Platform Album, Special Kkuru Jam, and Cartes bonus. The tracklist does not change from one version to the next: only the box, the photocards and the artwork do. Photobook declares more items on these points: one photobook, 16 lyric booklets, and one disc.
This is an official edition: bought from an authorised retailer, it counts towards the Hanteo and Circle charts, which measure physical sales in South Korea. EAN 8809957311489 points to this exact edition: it is the code to check before buying, because every version carries its own.
